We started Kapiital because the lending stack in India is broken in a specific way.
Most institutions run their business on five tools that do not speak to each other, an Excel sheet that the CFO maintains by hand, and a WhatsApp group where the field officers actually live. Fixing it needs software, a working BC operation, real capital and operator-grade advice — all in one place.
The problem
This is not a technology problem. It is an operating problem.
Building one more LMS does not fix it. Selling one more piece of software to an under-resourced ops team does not fix it. What fixes it is owning the operating model end to end — the platform, the people running it on the ground, the capital behind the book, and the advice that ties it all together.
That is why Kapiital runs as four tracks, not one. You can buy the software and run the operation yourself. You can hand the operation to us as a BC. You can borrow capital from us or co-lend with us. You can hire our consulting team. Pick the combination that fits.
What we do

A live Business Correspondent network pre-empaneled with sponsor banks and NBFCs. Field-led customer sourcing, KYC, disbursement and servicing across India.

Own-book and co-lending operations under the RBI co-lending framework. Capital absorbed and deployed through our agent network — personal, business, MSME, vehicle, education and gold loans.

What we believe
Four principles, one operation.

A 2-person NBFC and a 500-person co-op should run the same product.
Configuration is the difference, not the platform. We built one software stack that serves both extremes, then put the same operators behind it as a service.

AI is not a feature.
It is the way operational work gets done now. Onboarding, KYC, underwriting checks, bucket-1 collections, audit logs — that work either gets done by 50 humans or by a software stack that knows what it is doing.

Indian regulation is a feature, not a constraint.
RBI Digital Lending Guidelines, the SRO regime, data localisation, scale-based regulation — these are protections for the borrower and the system. We built our products to operate inside that frame, comfortably.

You should be able to buy one thing or all four.
Some customers buy the software. Some bring us in as a BC partner. Some borrow capital from us or co-lend with us. Some hire the consulting team. Each track stands alone; they work better together.
The team
Operators first, engineers second.
Most of the team has spent time inside NBFCs, MFIs, or co-operative societies. The product, the BC operation and the consulting practice are all built around what our customers actually need to ship to their borrowers.
